This last week has been pretty busy. I babysat Saige all week. Friday was the only short day.. Love that boy but he wears me out..lol
I've been told by lots of people thru my life that I should write a book about my life. I have tried to sit down and make a time line and it gives me a headache.. Just too much too remember all at once I think.
So, I've decided to just open up here and talk randomly about my life as things come to mind. That way it's less pressure and probably not nearly as boring to read either.
I will also be talking about my disabilites and how they affect me mentally and Physically. So, if nothing else it should be interesting. :)
Tonight I finally figured out how to add some gadgets to my blog page. Hopefully it will make it a bit more fun and it will also make it so people that don't read English can change my blog into their language and read it :) It will also make it so they can post it to FB or Twitter and a few others if they want to share it. :)
I'm hoping to get some followers.. People who will ask me questions and I can answer and have conversations with them. Hopefully it will happen. I havn't really been at this blogging thing for that long.
I don't really know where to start with my past.. I was born First out of 3 girls. My Mom grew up in a very small town in Iowa, where she met my dad, who was from Kentucky. They married young, at 18 and I think I was born when they were 19. I was an only child until I was 5. My sister Tammy was born Aug. 21st and I think I started school Sept. 1st. I remember thinking that my mom was sending me away now because she had a new one and didn't need me anymore. So it was sad for me. My second sister Missie wasn't born til I was 9. So there is a lot of years between the 3 of us.
When I was young I think things were pretty normal. We did breakfast, went to school, come home and played. ate supper, bathed and went to bed. I don't think things started to get weird til I was 9 and my dad come home one night and he had a full head of hair. My dad went completly bald when I was born..lol So, we all wondered where he got the hair? Come to find out it was a wig.. Even as a child I thought that was kind of strange. I also figured out he was drinking that night. I think I figured it out because he was happy and talkitive and seemed to be having fun with all of us.. That was NOT my normal dad. He was usually quiet until he would get irritated by something or one of us kids, then he would yell so loud I always thought the roof was shaking. I did my best to just stay away from him. My sisters never did though.
After that night things changed. We ended up moving when I was 10 to a house. Which was nice cause we had always lived in an upstairs apt. And I would get my own room for the first time. Even if it was really just a front porch. :) We only lived in that house for one year. Then we moved into a house we were going to buy and it was on E 12th. I thought it was the coolest house ever cause I knew I would have a real room and it would be ours to keep. :) My mom said since I was the oldest I got to pick which room I wanted from the two upstairs.. So I picked the one at the front of the house becasue I wanted to see what was going on outside whenever I wanted to and the ceiling was covered with Sparkles!!! I thought that was the prettiest thing I'd ever seen. You have to remember I was only 11...lol..
Well, in our new house is when we all grew and changed.. I think I will wait til I write my next blog to get into it cause I'm not sure there will be a stopping point once I start..
Oh.. I did have a great weekend though. Went to 2 garage sales and got a bunch of brand new Art brushes for a VERY good price. :) I also went to a sale of a woman that had her own beading store and was going out of that business. She had like 70,000 dollars worth of beads. She said she would give me a good price on what I bought.. As it turned out I bought almost 400.00 worth of beads full price, but she only charged me 156.00 .. Soooo, NOW I have even MORE beads that I need to get busy with and make some stuff. :)
OH.. and me and my friend Kathy have decided to Exchange talents.. She has wanted to buy one of my drawings so I told her, how about you make me something (she sews for a living and make such cool stuff) and I will draw your babies for you, which are her 2 pet rats. :) So we both liked that idea and that is what we are doing. :) I"m so excited!! I got the outline of them done today and a lot of their markings and shadowing on them.. I can't wait to see what they are going to look like when I am all done with them.. And of course I'm excited to see what Kathy is going to make me too. :)
Ok.. think I'm going to go for now, it's 12:30am already and I know it will take me time to fall a sleep. I just hope I stay a sleep tonight..
