Today has been a super busy day. Saige came at 9am this morning.. No nap day.. Which means I have to keep up with him for about 8 hrs. That may not seem bad to all of you, but this is a 5 year old with a HUGE imagination and a TON of energy.. and remember I am 50 and have some health issues that slow me down. Someday I will talk about all of them if I haven't already.. I try not to think about it all, til it's Pushed on me by pain.. Anyway...
For some reason Saige is really into Cleaning with Grandma. His mom says he doesn't have this problem at home..lol.. so today we cleaned the doors and woodwork. We scrubbed and scrubbed and made them shine. The harder we worked the happier he was. By the time we were done I was really tired.. But.. Saige will NOT let me rest for long..I got him some cereal to eat and that gave me a rest.. After that we were off outside to try and catch bugs.. then he started playing in the sand out behind the garage. I don't mind being outside, I just need to start taking a book for me to read or something because I get a little bored just watching him build stuff in sand. Although he is very inventive. He makes bridges, and housing and lakes and mountains and tornado's and race tracks. He even makes different cities.. Today he asked me what dirt is made out of.. I said, ummm dirt.. minerals, rock, sand.. I think I need to look that one up.. I mean who asks a question like that?? Dirt is dirt right?? lol
Anyway, by the time he left I had a smoke.. checked my email and then crashed for a couple hours.. I was exhausted.. and the fun part is, he will be back tomorrow morning at 9 am again.. God give me strength..lol..
Tim had more shots in his neck today. He has a messed up nerve in his neck since he got hit by a car in his work truck. He already has 2 brace things implanted in his neck, he really didn't need this extra trauma to it. So, now daily we kind of compare our pain, like two really old people..lol Then we get on with it and do the things that we need to do..
I found a couple really cool designs to make wire bracelets.. I'm hoping to try them out this weekend. Hopefully I can do them. I'm excited to try. :)
I still need to come up with an idea of something Extra cool to draw too. I got done with my "Flower Girl". It is kind of funny cause I have been praying to God nightly to give me the energy and creativity to do my art. And the "Flower Girl" was just for fun to get back into my drawing. When I thought it was done then it rained that night and somehow my roof in my studio leaked just enough to drop water on the flowers and it dripped down and connected all the flowers on one side. So now it looks like they are all on a stem.. I showed it to Christal, my daugher.. to Joel, her husband, and to Tim and they all couldn't see what I was talking about until I pointed it out to them. they said they thought I added that.. lol.. So I guess God just put his own touch on my painting.. :) That is the way I'm looking at it anyway..I hope to get pics of it and post it in on my FB page on my Fractured Moon Studio Page. Well, I don't know what tomorrow will bring, but I do know it won't be boring cause Saige will be here. :) He will be starting school this year, so I guess I better appreciate all the time I get to spend with him right now. :)
Ok guys.. think I've chattered on enough for tonight.. wish I knew how to get this blog out to more people. I need to find some interesting blogs to read too. I love learning about new people and making new friends. :)
