Friday the 13th 2012

Well I'm going to start with Thursday the 12th.. It started out as a pretty slow day.. Me trying to wake up and Saige playing with his toys and prestering me. Luckily he was being nice and mostly kissing me on my forhead. Cept for the time he hit me in the eye with his chin..lol
When I finally got moving we decided to vacuum.. I did the whole house and then Saige wanted to use the hose attachment, so I let him. He vacuumed all around the dog kennel and I lifted the chairs for him so he could do under them, and he even moved the 2 rugs in front of the sliding glass doors.. lol.. For 5 he has a strong opinion about what Clean means. :)
After that we ate and then his dad got off early and decided to work on his car. He asked if I minded watching Saige so he could. I said no I didn't mind.. So Saige decided to go out and help his dad work on the car.. so I went out too just in case Saige was more trouble than help.. but he did really good getting things for his dad.
Then we went for a golf cart ride and then Saige decided he wanted to dig in the dirt by the front fence and ride his bike. We were sitting by the fence.. Saige on the ground and me in a lawn chair and Saige was digging in the dirt making bridges and so on. Our neighbor to the West of us was mowing his lawn. All of a sudden a HUGE piece of dried wood (the size of my hand and about 4 inches thick) Hit the fence just 2 feet from Saiges Head!!! I was so shocked I couldn't say anything!. Our neighbor on the mower looked over at us and asked calmly.. Did that hit you?? I just looked at him in shock and said NO! Then he said, I saw that earlier and meant to pick it up!! WTF!!! So because he forgot my Grandson almost got his HEAD Busted open?? It left a nice dent in our fence where it Hit,.... I think I'm still in shock as to how close it came to hitting him!!! Nothing more scary then to think of your grandson being Killed right in front of you!!!
After that Saige decided to ride his bike for a while and use chalk to make lines in the street for traffic.. Of course I had to help with THAT part.. lol
After he went home with his dad I was hurting a lot.. so I took a pain pill and laid down.
And I found out that the new fishing Pole and reel I bought Tim the day before didn't Work!!! So he took the warrenty, reciept and pole back and got a new one. Good thing he had to I guess cause as it worked out the woman never charged me for the 2 year Warrenty I asked for.. Unreal..lol
Anyway, Tim got a new pole and reel and the warrenty for real this time. He also had the sales guy try out the reel to make sure it worked before he brought it home. Guess we should have done that in the first place. lol .. Oh well.. live and learn I guess.
As for Today.. I normally Love Friday the 13th cause I have a  great time and good luck on this day.. So far this morning it's not working out so well.. Tried to make coffee and it all ended up all over my counter.. ground and all.. Then texted Tim to see if the dogs had been out and he called me back and my battery on my phone went dead..lol.. Plugged it in and called him back.. It's also rainy and stormy out, not to mention it's only 8:30am.. I don't do mornings well ever... So I'm going to drink some coffee, eat a bagel and go back to bed for a couple hours.. since I don't sleep all that well at night.. Luckily Saige doesn't come til 2pm today.
