Tim's Birthday 2012

Today was a great day!! It was my husbands 58th Birthday and I think me and Saige (my 5 year old grandson) did a great job at surprising him. First we each made him a Birthday card, full of love and stickers. lol Then we had to go to the store, and of course we went to Dahl's cause Saige's mom Christal works there. Saige Insisted that we get Papa Balloons for his birthday. So he picked out the big mylar balloon he wanted with had a winner dog on the front that said Happy Birthday, and we got 4 other balloons to go with it. 2 black and 2 green. Why? Cause those are the only colors they had..lol
Then we got Papa  some brownies with nuts on top (and Saige got him some too) and we got him 4 bags of chocolates. 2 bags of hershy's kisses and 2 bags of M & M's. :)  Then we were headed home.
We waited patiently for the next 2 hours for Tim to come home from work. When he did we hid and jumped out and yelled Surprise!!! Which really didn't surprise him because Saige does it to him all the time....lol
Then after Tim had his boots and coat off we took him into the living room.. eyes closed and Saige leading him, and told him to open his eyes. All his balloons, candy, brownies and Birthday cards were arranged in his favorite recliner. :)  And me and Saige Sang Happy Birthday to him. I have Never sang Happy Birthday to him and i know Saige never has.. We are GOOD!!! :)
 I think he was pretty surprised because I'm pretty sure he thought I forgot his Birthday. :)

After Saige went home around 5:30pm I had another Surprise for Tim. I took him out to Pro Bass shop and told him he was to pick out a nice rod and real!. He loves to fish but I can't remember the last time he bought a new pole. So the one he picked out was really nice but I thought it should have been a bit more expensive, so I talked him into getting a filet knife too. He got a board to hold the fish while he cleans it too.
Another big surprise for him. We have never been to the Pro Bass shop together before and Wow do they ever have a TON of Poles and reels.. Amazing!!!
So, I'm thinking Tim had a very good Birthday, not to mention all the phone calls he got from the kids and grandkids and the Birthday wishes he got on FaceBook too. :)

Oh, if you are wondering why this is the first post I've made in over a year?? It's because I lost my Blog.. No I'm not kidding.. I lost it and couldn't find it..lol
Soooooo, I'm not promising anything but I hope to write in it a lot more often.
I am also not promising anything but I have started to work on my drawings again and I just ordered a bunch of stuff to make more jewelry.. So we will see how that all goes. :)
